This is the Blockade Server master database, which is a list of all advertising, tracking and malicious domains we are aware of at a specific moment in time. Blockade will update this list frequently as new domains are created and as malicious sites spawn on the internet. Any domains in this list are being blocked across your network. You also have the ability to add in your own External Blocklist and either us it along side our Blocklist, or you may turn ours off.

To see if a specific domain is being stopped by Blockade, add the domain name in the Domain Check field.  Example type in "metiix.com", you will see that this domain is not being blocked and we will report "false" across all of your possible lists (Blocklist, Custom Blocklist, External Blocklist, Exceptions List, and External Exceptions List).  If the domain you are checking is found to be in any of the lists, we will report "true"

If you would like to block any domains that are outside of our current Blocklist, add them to your Custom Blocklist or add in your own External Blocklist and that domain will immediately be blocked. Example, if you don't want to allow access to certain social media sites or explicit content sites on your network, add these domains to your Custom Blocklist.
