When you add a domain to your Custom Blocklist it is immediately blocked. And all access to it is blocked to all devices on your network that go through Blockade.

Example: if you add www.facebook.com to your Custom Blocklist no devices on your network will be able to get to Facebook,


If you have recently been to Facebook on a computer, that computer may still be able access the Facebook homepage due to DNS Caching on the local computer. You just need to clear the cache, wait it out, or reboot the local box. Example: If you are on Chrome and you clear the cache, Facebook.com will now not show up (chrome://net-internals/#dns).
